Project logs / Re: Really universal soldering controller
Hello All,Are you Chinese? Yes, please don't come here to shame, you tell me which qq group, let's explore. What's your cost
I have been following this forum for the past 3 years since it contains one of my favourite topic "soldering".
I am very happy to see a new version in 4 layers well done Sparky!!
I notice something crazy lately going on with ppl doing assemble for a crazy little amount of money like €72.
If parts are genuine there is no way to offer that price no matter what, there is no such discount on the market for new parts.
Just a little warning for anyone that is interested in buying assembled ready pcb since the only way someone can offer such price is by using FAKE or Worst second-hand components if that ever will be the case never blame this fantastic project but blame your budget.
I have enough parts left to assemble 20 Unisolder 5.2, doing it by hand is the best I found.
Keep up this project alive, I wish to offer my help in testing if needed, I have free time now.
Regards
Tronix

Q1 was dead as a dodo once replaced everything went alive. My advice comes from "baihui". It's this post floor, #3772, which he's met and solved
thx xystwr as advised I focused on REF3030 and "bingo" one of the solder joints was not giving correct contact. Now it is showing ACF. Calibration went smooth no issues.
I wired up my C245 handle and inserted my test tip and I am getting message that heater is open. I checked continuity between V1- and V1+ on my connector and this is correct. Any hint where to look for fault? I will be very grateful.

My enclosure has a hole for this, so I cannot move it.What if you make a double choice? Add a package in the same position on the back, the pad punches through the hole, you can choose to install this adjustable resistance before and after, is it feasible

This won't happen any time soon. I already wrote about my reasons. If someone wants to make a major changes/redesigns - the schematics are public, it is a day work to rewrite them in any PCB CAD and a week or so to make completely new PCB out of them. In fact a guy back in the thread did this, as far as I remember.Hello, I would like to make a suggestion, since the pcb has been redisled, can you move the adjustable resistance for calibration to the side a little bit, we use oled 2.42 will block, can only replace the small screen to calibrate

Сan you so kind to share gerber PCB file.I uploaded that pcb before, just r7 removal, I'm in D2 and a capacitor, if you need to change the pcb yourself, I didn't modify it

I don‘t understand why you need to keep down the cost of it, unless you just want to commercialize it.Commercialization is not me, I am a personal player. I also like type-c
The vertical Type-C connector is commen used, your point is irrespective of tech.
They are pretty cheap(0.1$-1$) and durable and have much types to supply, why not consider about them?
On the contrary, I deem that the biggest problem is that there are too many types to choose, even they can’t be found in other countries and places

I don‘t understand why you need to keep down the cost of it, unless you just want to commercialize it.pcb manufacturers can't do it. They say straight-in type-c mouths, hole spacing they can't do. If you can make it there, you can try modifying the pcb yourself

A little question here, why not to replace mini-USB into Type-C in new version? There is no point, especially this standing type-c, which we have tried, the process does not allow, the hole spacing is too small and the cost is uncontrollable. Who are you in the qq group, don't make any comments, verify them yourself before you give them![]()
Thanks so much to sparkbg ; )

love diy, will you have any problems if I make the new revision 4-layer?Too much to look forward to, the four-layer board can really try, I do not know whether a pcb can pass the verification
