Hi kamcm

The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows I'm running.
Is a 64-bit OS, I tried DOSBox but was not able to run the file, then I tried to edit
the .bat file but I end up giving up, thank you kamcm

Hi tayken,

I would like to show you my stuff... 4 years ago I bought the Arduino AVR
The one you see in the picture, and I've been using it with no problems at all,
it worked very neat the first day, I use it to dump data from chips like the one
in the picture, works very well with TeraTerm v4.68. then 6 months ago I bought
the Teensy 3.0 which worked very well, I love it . Now finally just few days ago...
I purchase this Bus Pirate, but this little thing is driving me crazy! there was no
manual with it, no instructions, no nothing to start using it with, dead end for me.
I tried flashrom which is the one I wanted to use with, but did not worked for me,
then I tried TeraTerm Pro Web v3.1.3 and same thing! ...Now I'm trying with this
version of TeraTerm v4.68, Bus Pirate is on COM4, but here comes my question,
what command I have to use to check if there is comunication with Bus Pirate and
the software? would be nice if you or some one else can help me, thank you.

Hi kamcm,

I see that at least you did tried to test your Bus Pirate with the following utility:
"Bus Pirate HPV Adapter SELF TEST utility v0.1" which I search for but could not find it.
Can I ask where I could download it and how to use it?

Hi kamcm, thanks for stopping by,
But for what I see your question atleast have few answers which is good.
My main issue is that I can't get Bus Pirate to comunicate with flashrom or TeraTerm.
My project target is an ATMEL chip in a MacBook Pro laptop, I want to dump the rom,
Then if it is possible to write back to the EEPROM ATMEL chip.

Bus Pirate Support / Help with Bus Pirate
Hi everyone,

I have recently begun with Bus Pirate, I have programming skills,
but I have never deal with something like Bus Pirate before,
would be nice if some one could help me out with my Bus Pirate.
at first I thought it would be easy, I ordered Bus Pirate with the idea
of dumping a rom from my efi firmware atmel chip, then it took me a while
to find the driver and finally installed the driver for my Bus Pirate.
then in an attempt to achieve communication between my Bus Pirate and my PC
I downloaded the latest version of Flashrom, but too bad I could not make flashrom
to talk to one each other, then I downloaded TeraTerm Pro Web v3.1.3 and same thing,
so at this point I have failed to make any test :-(
I was wondering which program is the one I have to use.
