Many thanks for the links i will check them out. The part I refer to reading the i2c chip I mean I have the data sheet for it but I havent a clue what I am looking at as in where the memory address starts. Thank you for your assistance

Bus Pirate Support / Help needed trying to read PCA24S08
Hi I just got my Bus Pirate the other day, its v3.6 should I update the firmware or just leave it?. Also Im trying to read a PCA24S08 i2c eeprom but to be honest Im getting nowhere. If I try the sniffer option I get this 0xB8-[] but then Im stuck after that. I have downloaded the datasheet for the eeprom but I dont know what to look for..Any help would be appreciated.
