DirtyPCBs support / Designspark PCB - Drill & Milling Data
I need some help (or just a point at the right direction) to get usable gerber-outputs with DesignSpark PCB.
I've designed a several boards, which I want to panelize and order from dirty pcb.
The problem with DesignSpark PCB is, that there's out of the box no "layer" for milling/cutouts because we should use the "Outline"-layer for cutouts which won't work for several boad houses.
So I've made my own "mechanical" layer, which I use for cutouts, slots and so on. The last times I ordered pcbs from a local supplier, the fab (in germany) asked me to send the gerber files for the mechanical-layer seperately. But for dirty pcbs this is not possible. So I wanted to include the mechanical layer in the drill file, which doesn't work. If I have a look at the gerber files with different viewers, there are actually no drills/cutouts/whatever.
So maybe you have an idea of how I can easily realize my cutouts with DesignSpark PCB? I don't want to order some pcs of crap worth $500 because of some wrong drill data ;-)
Best regards
Jan
