How did you read out all this Information from iron.c ? Wow
Can anyone comfirm it?
Do i need any Update or modification?
Best regards

I nice and helpful guy.
He sent me all data what he has:

Sorry - mistake - busy head - that is cold junction compensation,The type is between c and d.
Just ignore the previous message.
You can measure the resistance of the sensor - if is around 0 - thermocouple - when heated generate mV
if it has some resistant when heated check for changes.
Or simply ask the weller support for the type of the sensor.
Does it help?

you can read the schematic - sensor is R-TC (KTY82-100, 1k cold) resistive.
And is not like JBC , it it most likely the same or similar to WSP80.

There is another option, but for this you need to know exactly what exactly your tweezers, a resistor or a thermocouple is controlled for, if it is identical to jbc, then I would connect it as jbc and would not be afraid to burn because I often carry out such experiments and there were no problems while all the tools workyes that is my fear. To burn/damage the tweezer. They are not cheap.

I think it’s no harder than jbc micro tweezers, heat a little with a lighter and measure at which contacts the resistance changes there and there will be your thermistor, and then by analogy with jbc a completely identical circuit. 100% not sure, but something like this is being builtyes you are right... but the profile for wmrt is inside the Station so i have to find which resistor to which line. Than Station will accept the tweezer. I think in programm Code is a list of resistors to identify the irons or not?

Great to see that this project is allive!
Does anyone have Information how to connect weller wmrt tweezer to this station?
Pinout and resistors ... Thank

wow!does this modification has negative results if i plug other irons?
thanks man![]()

Here's what you must modify to use the controller for Wellert WMRT how tweezers (future support for Weller WMRT will also require this). Cut the power trace around the third button (red lines) and make the connections shown:
[attachment=0]
I will upload the new firmware with added Weller WMRT and PACE TD100 (both black and yellow) profiles soon.
Also, you will be able to upload the firmware with PC software using the bootloader and the USB connection. It will be ready in a week or so.
I will upload and updated GERBERS for a new PCB revision with these modifications. The not needed 7-segment parts will be also removed in the new revision, both from the PCB and the schematic. It will be fully hardware compatible with the current revision.
hi together,
i need the attachement ,its removed
and contion to weller wmrt
please

first of all, i want to thank everybody here!
Nice thread and cool guys with skills!
finally i finished my station(wihout case) and its running fine.
My big wish is to add the jbc nano tweezer( i have already micro tweezer, but little to big for my pcbs)
i asked few months ago, but unfortunatly no update.
Maybe we can together figure out,how to add the nano-tweezer?
best regards

Thanks alfredorov.
Do you have pictures or name of the adapter? I dont want to cut the cable of iron
