Overview

The ADC module converts analog signals to 12bit digital data, this data can then be read by the Bus Pirate. The ADC has four analog signals to chose form, three of which are provided through the AIN header:

  • ADC_IN0 is connected directly to the AIN pin.
  • ADC_IN1 is connected to a voltage divider circuit supply ing it with 2/3 of the AIN signal.
  • ADC_IN2 is also connected to a voltage divider, only its signal is at 1/3 voltage of the AIN pin.
  • ADC_IN3 is connected to a temperature sensor, which is located inside the microcontroller.

Jumper position

To select the ADC module please remove both jumpers from the DEVICE header.
