Hmm. The comments on that article seem to be getting the wrong idea about what this is actually suitable for. You may *feel* cooler/warmer but your body temperature doesn’t significantly change. Assuming it will help potentially vulnerable people survive cold winters with reduced heating is going to end with disaster!
That said, this is pretty neat. I’m surprised that they can get 8 hours from the battery but I guess they’re not running the peltier much and when it does run, they’re not trying to create a big temperature differential.
