Bus Pirate v4 is back in stock at Seeed Studio. The Bus Pirate is an open source hacker multi-tool that talks to electronic stuff. It’s got a bunch of features an intrepid hacker might need to prototype their next project.

You can get a Bus Pirate v4 for $40, including worldwide shipping.

    I have a Bus Pirate v4, purchased Aug 2014 (V6.2 – Beta1 r1981).
The I2C sniffer does not decode correctly. Have tried 50khz and 100khz, software, & hardware settings.
Unit will decode the I2C address correctly but will read incorrect/random data byte sent from master.

Mode (1) works, I can find addresses, and sending I2C data out from BP works as expected.

Connected digital oscilloscope and logic sniffer to same circuit and the both decode data stream correctly. What am I doing wrong?
