Workshop Update for March 14th, 2013

Today we concentrated on filming, editing and posting the reflow hot plate video. We continue working on the Bus Pirate Edu Kit documentation. The image above is used in an exercise where you build your own Bus Pirate LCD adapter on the bread board using only a 74HCT595 and a potentiometer.
You can get an assembled version of the Bus Pirate v4 LCD adapter for $9 at Seeed.

What drawing package was used to create the graphic in this post? Fritzing? Or something else?
Hi we used Sketchup for this..
It’s not the most efficient way to make assembly instructions, but it does give us the possibility to render real life images from different angles later… like these http://dangerousprototypes.com/2012/12/24/3d-model-bus-pirate-and-breadboard-holder-2/
**making the wiring in SketchUp is a pain.
