WayneAndLayne is doing a series of short Kicad tutorials.  This next tutorial in the series will show you how to use autorouter:

Routing, the process of connecting all the pads of a printed circuit board (PCB) layout, can be a time-consuming and tedious process. To avoid the time and frustration of manually routing your PCB, there are various software tools called autorouters which can do this for you. This post will show you how to use the external autorouter from the FreeRouting website.

unrelated question – is there a way to embed txt into yt video so that flash will read it – or the only way is to use text2speach and embed it as normal sound?

Thanks for the pointer Chris, to P.Sebastien’s KiCad videos. Those two are the most useful ones on KiCad that I’ve seen.

wow, I hope more people doing Open Hardware start to use open source Kicad.

I’m using Kicad to develop commercial products and it works fine!
