As we are heading towards summer and I love barbecuing please dig as many barbecue hacks out as you can :)
Wow, this is really funny – I recently did almost the same thing! I reverse engineered the same ET732 thermometer, except I used the DP web platform board, and connected to the internet via ethernet. I tried using Cosm, but wasn’t satisfied with the options they offered…so I built my own site instead (http://www.bobblake.me/bbq). I haven’t posted any documentation of my project yet, but I’ve been meaning to. Maybe this will be a good kick in the butt to do so…
Very nice, I like your zoom-able graph, looked at the source and see your using http://www.flotcharts.org/ and bootstrap. Would be interested to see how you pulled it all together.
Like the article I’ve used Cosm previously for temperature graphing.
Bob, I’m trying to do the same project, but would like to use a DP board. I’m early in my learning curve, though. I’ll help with the documentation if you’ll share your secrets.
