yes biosflasher, it’s a very GREAT soft, very usefull and very efficient ^^, and also for Bus Pirate: a cheap device, but how is usefull and efficient, a real GREAT device.

what is the blue device that was used to attach to the chip? where can I buy similar ones?
That’s a SOIC clip, probably from Pomona or 3M. You can get cheap chinese clones from ebay, for example, or if you prefer the real ones, get them from your prefered electronics distributor.
My mother in law said she had a few of those clips and a small bag of ttl chips that she wanted to give me. I imagine it would be hard to clip on to the legs of an SOIC chip once it is soldered in.
What kind of mother-in-law gives out SOIC clips and TTL-chips? Who/what did you marry?
A perfect one. I would marry her daughter instantly!
