PCB a Week 8: NU-FitHole hole size helper

Mats continues his challenge of designing one PCB every week. This tool helps to determine exact hole dimensions for screws and other parts.
This entry was posted in PCBs and tagged FitHole, PCB a Week, tool. This weeks PAW will be extremely simple – it’s not even a breakout board, but it might still come in handy for people making PCBs. The FitHole is a tool for testing what drill size that best fits a part that you’re making a library footprint for.

So simple, but yet so very helpful! Great tool for the bench for sure!!
I would love one. It would come in quite handy when sorting/finding parts.
This would be a great tool to have. I haven’t sent any boards off to Seeed yet as I have a few parts I’m worried about lead sizing. This would eliminate that concern.
I have a large one of these for bolts, but a small one for electronics sized projects would be quite nice.
I would use mine to sort all my tiny sized drill bits first.
Neat!
Would love one – great for keeping tracks of drills and mill bits!
This looks like a great tool to keep around! I could have used it last week…
that would surely be useful…
I would love one of these electronics workbench tools — very useful !!
Nice to have tangible holes ;).
I’d love to compare it against iTead’s sample board to see how accurate their samples are.
This is awesome, how do I buy one? Please email me.
This is cool. I hope I win.

I think this might be a very useful tool. Let’s see if I can get one. Thanks!

Looks good and quite useful. Can these be bought?
Would love one of these. If I don’t win one, I’ll probably have to get some made.
