Bus Pirate v4 back in stock

Bus Pirate v4 is back in stock at Seeed Studio. The Bus Pirate is an open source hacker multi-tool that talks to electronic stuff. It’s got a bunch of features an intrepid hacker might need to prototype their next project.
v4 has some great new features, but if you want a tool that “just works” the v3 is still your best bet.
You can get a Bus Pirate v4 for $40, including worldwide shipping.

Is it the plain v4 version?, not one of the newer ones?, 4c, 4d etc?
Yes everyone wanted it sooner than we could get the new one in production.
So, if I am new to Bus Pirate, should I wait for the newer versions of the Bus Pirate to come out rather than this plain V4…???
I mean how much hardware change is there in the revisions…?
I really want it, thinking of getting the V4, not V3, please advice…
yeah, get the v3.x from seeed, sorry if I made fuss here, v4.x is for thinkerers still.
I can wait for v.4c – if it is coming out sometime soon and buy it along with its case..
I can spend cash on such stuff only once [dollar exchange rates etc], so if there is NOT any major hardware change expected and the current design is final (to some extent) I would rather buy this than v3…
I can tinker somewhat myself, so it will be nice to have the v4 with the additional features..
v4c, the final version, will have a different shape. That is the only change.
Great, since that was also the pcb’s made in the forum:

V3.x is still the recommended one (at least it was when I last checked not long ago). V4 firmware has been improved, but if you want stability and good support, V3 is still the go. Current board I think is V3.6, but Seed will give you the latest 3.x
yes, I too saw that.. but if the hardware is not going to change by much, then I would invest in v4 instead of v3
