Bluetooth MSP430 tank

Here’s an interesting and fun use of the MSP430 and your Android phone: robotic tank control. This project by Mike adds a Bluetooth transceiver module MSP430 and mounts this along with a motor drive booster pack and battery on a toy tank from Pololu.com. He says, “All in all, a fun project where I learned a lot as usual. Next step might be to add some sensors. Or maybe a really bright LED and then have a control on the phone to flash it at people.”
You can get more details and download the code from Mike and Cindy’s Project Blog.

Actually it’s Pololu.com. And I’m Mister Fatfinger Typist : )
It is nice project.Control of many devices are today from android. Therefore hardware tools are reducing in size.
Truly size of hardware tools are reducing due to nanotechnology prevalent in market.Hardware supplies are increased due to tools used are short today.
I guess, that kind of project gets really fun and interesting when program on your phone receives data from sensors mounted on the tank and controls motors of the tank. Something like Nx project: http://nx.roofof.net/
