Hell yeah this is awesome!
Just look at all those high end vacuum chambers and arms! I would love to work there someday, just have to become a very very smart person first. :P
Yep at 6:48 you can get an idea of their failure rate, you can see the number of dies that are out of spec.
This is also why there is such price variation in China, when you buy LED parts or strips,only the absolutely dead parts are scrapped off, everything else makes it into production., also depending on how well they duplicate the chemistry of the conversion layers, dictates how quickly the light/colour decreases over time, in some cases you can loose 20% in a couple of thousand hours of use.
Oh wow, I had no idea that LEDS can decrease in light output or color quality over time!
