PCB design toolkit

RichF tipped us about a free download from Saturn PCB Design Inc. It’s a collection of calculators to aid your with PCB design. Stuff like via resistance, trace current cappacity, differential pair inductance etc…
It incorporates many features that PCB designers and engineers are in regular need of like current capacity of a PCB trace, via current, differential pairs and much more. Please download our PCB Toolkit today for free and enjoy!
Via the forum.

This runs in wine (I’m using crossover 9). thanks for the great reference.
After many hours of searching around the internet, it seems a lot of people have different opinions on some of these measurements (such as trace spacing as a function of voltage, and trace width as a function of current, via size, etc.). Do you guys at DP agree with the measurements that this program yields?
I think everyone is going to have a slightly different take. It’s nice to have a quick reference though. I guess a potential solution is to store all the values in a config file and make them user editable and share-able like a DRC :) (maybe this is already the case).
