Linux full screen problems solved with MPLAB X version 1.3

Microchip released the version 1.3 of their MPLAB X IDE, and it seems the full screen issue was solved for Linux users, as reported by Arhi. He also reports finding the Integrated Programing Environment installed with MPLAB X, apparently since v1.2. This is a standalone app for programing with PM3, ICD3, PICKIT 3, and Real ICE programmers/debuggers.

This update also fixed my pickit3 connect issue. I could connect fine with 1.1, but 1.2 required me to do a bunch of goofy things just to program a target. 1.3 mostly fixed these issues.
Yay! It still likes to eat 100% of the cpu from time to time, but it’s getting better. I like the direction they are going with svn support too.
I wonder why they didn’t just base their IDE on eclipse however?
I thought it was based on Eclipse?
It’s based on Netbeans (thanks God). It’s not based on eclipse probably ’cause mcp engineers (properly) agree that eclipse sucks.
SVN works from day one ? What problems you had with SVN? I don’t see anything new related to SVN in 1.3
