Renesas RX210 demo board promotion

Renesas is making the RX210 promotional demo board available free to eligible registrants. This board is based on the RX210 ultra-low power, low-voltage Flash MCU. You can download the board’s schematic here.

This promotion is open to residents of the United States, Canada, Mexico & South America. Other restrictions may apply.

In order to qualify, you have to give up some personal info by registering with Renesas.

    I am such a sucker for free stuff. I don’t know what I’ll do with this if I get it? I probably need another MCU demo board like I need another hole in my head.

    Another proprietary micro with proprietary compiler, proprietary debugger, and little to no
    support from the community.
    Don’t even think about development tools for Linux or Mac.

    Yawn.

    Well then while they’re at it, it seems they are throw this out for free too. Never used there products, but it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be open to learning a new board. Also, you have to fill out the project info it seems for the sample order to add.

    FYI, the video says this thing has 512M of on-board flash.

    yep, no ucLinux support and not even any info about how low power it is means it’s not worth learning…
