Flat screen TV teardown and fix

Hak8or got his hands on a few broken down TVs. One of which is a Dell W3000 set. It’s panel was intact so he figured it was worth to try and fix. After some probing he figured out there was leftover Flux short-circuiting the HV CCFL driver. He cleaned it up and the TV started without any further issues. Detailed pics of his teardown and fix in the forum.

I have a Dell W3000.
I was informed to replace the 2 capacitors so because the picture will not come on all the time.
Since you have knowledge of this could you send me a picture showing where the capacitors are located & what capacitors I would need?
It would be of great help to me.
Thank you.
Hello Sandy!
The capacitors that might be problematic are the two that you see in the image of this post.

The capacitors that you would need should be rated at 35v or up, and 150 uF or up, preferably higher. These are called through hole capacitors, which means that they have two metal leads sticking out instead of just pads. The other information for the capacitors, such as their impedance or ESR I cannot say sadly, sorry. You can get capacitors like these from websites like digikey, mouser, or newark.
Good luck! :)
