3D printable IDC header shrouds

Renosis has created a 3D printable add-on shroud for 6 and 10 pin IDC headers.  Breakaway headers are much cheaper than shrouded headers and it would be possible to make them in other sizes if needed.

If you have access to a 3D printer this looks like a great way to add shrouds to your projects.  You could also use this trick to add a shroud to your Bus Pirate.

Get your own handy Bus Pirate for $30, including world-wide shipping. Also available from our friendly distributors.

3D printing is great and all, but this seems like a lot of trouble to save less than $1: http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=609-2845-ND

A custom enclosure for that board would be a great use of the printer!

The cost to print one is a fraction of the cost, and no more waiting for shipping!
