Week in (p)review: February 13, 2011

Don’t forget to share your current project in the comments or the forum. This week our favorite project gets a free SOIC protoboard.
Here’s a summary of major developments over the last week:
- Jawi released a new version of his client for the Logic Sniffer. This supports new features in the experimental Verilog core from dogsbody
- A new firmware v2.5 for the Logic Sniffer fixes bug
- Seeed Studio is back from holiday
- Check out dogsbody’s new version of Windows GUI upgrade utility for the Logic Sniffer
- There’s a complete upgrade package for the new v3 Logic Sniffer core and firmware at The Gadget Factory
- dogsbody released v6 of the Verilog core for the Logic Sniffer, codename “Demon Core”
- A new USB IR Toy firmware with minor bug fixes
- We unexpectedly spent the last few days writing a spam reducer for the forum. It’s been over 48 hours without a single spam for the first time ever
There’s parts and PCBs in the workshop, and we’re going to be building prototypes all week:
- USB IR Toy v2 is ready and we’ll order the first batch this week
- The CPLD development boards will be stuffed, tested, and ordered
- The Bus Blaster v1 will be available now that Seeed is back to work
- A new IR Toy firmware is complete, we’ll package it for release this week
