Bus Pirate v4, IR Toy update, 3EEPROM PCBs

A big box of PCBs arrived from Seeed’s Fusion board service today. Here are a few of the boards that have been mentioned on the blog or in the forum:
- An updated 3EEPROM explorer board
- USB Infrared Toy manufacturing update
- Bus Pirate v4 prototype for developers
Most of these boards won’t be available for months, but the 3EEPROM will go on sale with the Bus Pirate LCD adapter v2 soon.

BPv4 looks great, finally one chip with integrated USB. That should be on the OLS too, I assume it allows better speed and maybe data stream communications (= continuous sampling).
Thanks jnd – It’s just a test for now, but we’re going to see if an integrated USB solution works.
The OLS has a USB PIC, and can be made to do continuous sampling if there was a client program that supported it. The OLS design pretty much calls for the separate chip, it’s used to program the ROM with new bitstreams that are then loaded into the FPGA.
