This is the manufacturing prototype of the Open Logic Sniffer logic analyzer. Parts are all in-house at Seeed Studio. Procurement is usually the most hazardous and delay-fraught phase of a preorder.
Assembly, which will begin by Monday, is usually pretty quick. After assembly, the boards will be inspected, programmed, tested, and shipped to preorder participants. Read more about the process in the preorder overview and FAQ.
You can reserve an Open Logic Sniffer for $45, including worldwide shipping.

Great News !
Can’t wait to receive mine :) -
Is it worth ordering one or will there be revisions coming in the near future that I should wait for? I don’t want to follow the Bus Pirate scene where there were like 4 revisions…

There will be always something better tomorrow, next week, next month or next year. So you’ll need to see for yourself if it meets in its current state your expectation adn if you willing to spend the asked price for that. I personally think it is a bargain especially for hobby-use, for example the saleae cost 150$ at sparkfun, has just 8 chans and a 24Mhz sampling. Ok it comes in a nice casing, has probes and a printed manual. For about 100$ you should be able to make a great probekit. The OLS is also opensource and you are free to enhance it to meet your goal(s).
BTW the last two or three revisions of the buspirate are more or less the same HW platform. The differences as I know of are in the pullupresistors (v2 has only two and v3+ 4) and a different layout of the connector (it still has the same pins but on different positions)

So Ian, what you’re saying is that it wouldn’t be a huge issue to just order one now. Even if there were upgrades they probably wouldn’t be significant enough to affect operation that much?
Meaning that this (v1) will still be constantly supported in the future?
