Firmware version 3.3 for the Bus Pirate will be released in a few weeks. Are there any bug fixes or features you’d like to see in the next firmware release?
We’ve made these updates since the last release:
- Self-test now checks for voltage regulator over range, as well as under.
- UART macro 3: transparent bridge with RTS/CTS hardware flow control signals.

Which bounty? I’m guessing from your link the OpenOCD programmer feature? If yes, thanks for asking about it! I had a message filter in my email that moved the correspondence with the OpenOCD developer adding support to a different folder. He’s been emailing me and I haven’t seen any of the messages. I would never have found them if you didn’t ask. This is my mistake, hopefully we’ll have openOCD support soon!

What about software support for this kind of circuit to measure inductance?

Kind of easy, but maybe handy to have in the menu. I haven“t tried this with the bus pirates frequency counter so I dont know how good this really is.. But maybe someone will try.

I would like to see the ability to sniff 4-wire SD card traffic. Seems like it might just involve using the analog input as digital to get the clock+4 data.
